Summer Sizzle is taking over the Northrup King Building on Saturday, August 15, and Kolman & Reeb Gallery is joining the fun with art, conversation, and a hands-on creative event.
The building-wide indoor art fair runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with studios open throughout the Northrup King Building. Kolman & Reeb Gallery will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring Laura Andrews’ Project Space Grant exhibition, Transparent Eye.
From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., stop by for Laura’s free Collage Make-and-Take Demonstration. Laura will share how she alters found magazine images and transforms landscape imagery into something unexpected. Then you can try it yourself and create a mini masterpiece to take home.
Stick around, or come back later, for Laura’s Artist Reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Meet the artist, explore Transparent Eye, enjoy tasty treats, and wrap up your Summer Sizzle Day with us at the gallery.
