EXHIBITION OUTLINE:

We are pleased to announce our 2026 small works juried exhibition, The Big Tiny Show.

Our annual show includes 12″ x 12″ x 12″ or smaller, 2D and 3D works, from established and emerging artists, in a variety of subject matter, media, and expression.

All Minnesota artists aged 18+ at any stage of their career are encouraged to apply.

GALLERY EXHIBITION:

Saturday, October 3 through November 7, 2026.

Kolman & Reeb Gallery will host an artist reception: Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

All artists in the show are encouraged to attend the reception.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Submit up to 3 works.
• Submitted works must be no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″. Framed dimensions on framed work cannot be more than 12″ x 12″ x 12″.
• All submitted works must be for sale.
• 2D and 3D, free-standing and wall-mounted works, can be submitted.
• All subject matter is welcome.
• All media welcome except digital media or AI artworks.
• All works must be suitably framed or have finished sides, such as canvases and panels that are framed or have painted sides.
• All wall-mounted pieces must be wired and ready to hang.

TO APPLY:

• Submit up to 3 works, max file size each 1 MB at 300 dpi.
• Provide a nonrefundable $35 application fee by September 11, 2026.
• Complete the online submission form below.

SALES:

• All accepted works shall be for sale through the gallery and will be subject to applicable sales tax.
• Include the retail price of your artwork consistent with the amount it would typically sell at other retail venues including your studio.
• The gallery will take a 50% sales commission on all artworks sold.

DELIVERY OR SHIPMENT OF ARTWORK:

All accepted artworks must be either hand-delivered to the gallery or shipped to the gallery at the artist’s expense.

All works shipped to the gallery must be packaged in reusable containers and include a prepaid FedEx or UPS return label.

Personal checks, cash, and credit card information will not be accepted in place of prepaid return labels for the return of unsold artwork. No exceptions.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Deadline to apply: Friday, September 11 at 5:00 p.m. CST
Notification of decision: on or about September 16, 2026

Delivery of artwork dates:
In-person: Saturday, September 19 or 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Shipped to gallery: Saturday, September 24, 2026.
Artist reception: Saturday, October 3, 2026, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Exhibit dates: October 3 – November 7, 2026.

Artwork pick-up dates:
Monday, November 9, at 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or
Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The gallery is not responsible for works not picked up by November 10.

Non-sold shipped artworks will be returned the week of November 9, 2026, via artist-provided pre-paid Return Label. Gallery will not pay for return shipping.
