About the Artist

Inspired by images from agricultural and industrial machinery, and the new shape of modern wind turbines, Justin challenges his viewers to imagine how these shapes connote energy and movement. His sculptures that reflect old windmill bases and the shapes of new wind turbines ask us to think about, how capturing the wind has changed from a single farmer to a wind farm.

Justin leaves some of the marks on his sculptures that are a result of his creative process to remind the viewer of the hand built aspects of the piece. Some surfaces are  left bare for a similar reason, to show the natural oxidation of the materials used.
